JAKARTA, KOMPAS — The government has issued four circular letters to further tighten travel requirements for all modes of transportation as part of new measures to prevent a resurgence of new Covid-19 cases amid an expected increase in the number of travelers during the upcoming year-end holidays.

Meanwhile, based on a World Health Organization (WHO) document obtained by Reuters, the price of Covid-19 antiviral drugs for patients with mild symptoms, such as molnupiravir made by Merck & Co., is set at US$10 (about Rp 140,000). The price is much cheaper than $700 (Rp 9.8 million) per course approved by the United States.
